Details for Quality Technician Position:

• $17 .25 / Hour
• Train on 1st shift (7:00 AM-3:00 PM), then transition to 2nd shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM)
• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Quality Technician Position:

• Inspect glass products for defects, accuracy, and overall quality using measuring tools
• Monitor production processes and identify or report quality issues
• Verify products meet customer specifications and company standards
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Communicate quality concerns with supervisors and production teams
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and processes
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Quality Technician Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Glass manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to read and use calipers accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable with consistent attendance
• Quick learner with ability to adapt to new processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
