Job Description Security Officer - Warehouse Facility in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials when required, and report maintenance, access control, and/or policy-related issues according to post instructions. Support facility operations by observing shipping, receiving, and high-traffic areas for security-related issues, and by following established procedures for alarms, disturbances, and/or emergency events. Minimum Requirements: Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
