This position involves providing respiratory care to pediatric patients across various hospital departments, including emergency and critical care units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Rome, Georgia
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Respiratory Therapy, valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALs (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). No years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing mechanical ventilators, therapist-driven protocols, intubations (preferred).
• Additional Information:
  • Support within the department includes respiratory leadership and peer Respiratory Therapists.
  • Technology used includes the EPIC electronic medical record system and equipment such as Getinge Servo U, Servo Air, and ABL90.
  • Department operates with a culture of autonomy and teamwork, with a two-day departmental orientation.
