Dermatology Nurse Practitioner

Dermatology Nurse Practitioner – Part Time 1 Visit Monthly. The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top‑line care. We are seeking a talented Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients, especially the elderly. Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00 per patient or $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Responsibilities Perform physical exams and patient observations. Record patients' medical histories and symptoms. Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones. Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests. Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed. Diagnose health issues and communicate findings to the physician on call. Administer medicine and other treatments. Requirements CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License. Graduate of a state‑registered Nurse Practitioner Program or certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a National Association. Dermatology experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home. Either a D.O., M.D., or N.P. specializing in dermatology from an approved university. Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatments. Experience managing a diverse staff and client base. Ability to communicate important health information effectively, compassionately, and with the elderly. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. DEA registration required. General Information & Benefits 7–8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork per visit.
