INNIO employs over 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to moving energy forward. Work Schedule: Based at our Waukesha, WI facility in a 1st shift capacity. Overview: The Industrial Electrician is responsible for day-to-day electrical maintenance and repair activities required for equipment and facilities. In this role, you will meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning as well as establish the long-term planning through a facilities and equipment preventative maintenance program. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including but not limited to numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment. Perform preventive maintenance functions. Install, start up, and shut down, equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and in line with OSHA requirements. Maintain housekeeping of work area and equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment faults and failures. Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and 79 codes and their applications to meet national, state, and local codes. Experience and ability to work with AC and DC voltages up to and including 480 volts. Install and repair electric motors of all types. Ability to diagnose and program VFD’s as necessary. Minimum Requirements: Journeyman Industrial Electrician Card or 5 years equivalent industrial electrician experience. Collaborative team player, willing to take ownership of decisions and be a results-oriented self-starter. Able to work effectively in all environments. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and coordinate several projects simultaneously. Experience leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions. Preferred Skills: Previous knowledge of preventative maintenance systems a plus. Experience with Okuma, Makino, WFL and Pama equipment. Fanuc and Siemens controls expertise. Experience with older manual and automatic grinding equipment a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Innio
