This position reports to the SVP Business, Financial Planning & Analysis and will be located in our White Plains, New York headquarters. The Senior Director, Operations Finance & Business Partnering will serve as a strategic partner to the Business Segment Leadership, driving financial performance and decision-making through data-driven insights. This role will be overseeing budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and strategic analysis for the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the energy sector, deep financial acumen, and experience leading high-performing teams in dynamic, capital-intensive environments. Duties and Responsibilities Revenues ~$200 million; Adjusted EBITDA ~$110 million; 16 RNG Plants Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, long-range plans, and monthly/quarterly forecasting. Partner with business segment leadership to shape financial strategy aligned with corporate goals, energy market dynamics, and regulatory landscapes. Provide forward-looking financial analysis and modeling to support strategic investments, capital projects, and risk management. Business & Operational Support: Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop and analyze financial performance, operational KPIs, and scenario planning. Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve profitability, cash flow, and capital efficiency. Monitor energy market trends, commodity prices, and regulatory changes to assess financial impact and recommend proactive measures. Reporting & Analysis: Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and business intelligence to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy, transparency, and agility. Provide insights and reporting to support investor relations and stakeholder communications. Qualifications and Skills ​​​​​ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required, MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred. 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior FP&A role. Finance Transformation and implementation of Anaplan and ERP solution, i.e. NetSuite Prior experience in the energy sector (e.g., utilities, renewables, oil & gas, infrastructure). Proven ability to support executive decision-making with complex financial and strategic analysis. Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning. Deep understanding of the energy sector’s regulatory, capital, and operational dynamics. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Expertise in financial systems (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan) and advanced Excel skills. Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented mindset. Influential leader with the ability to drive change and inspire teams. High integrity, accountability, and commitment to excellence. Work Hours and Arrangements: Monday – Friday; standard business hours. Hybrid in office 3 days a week required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: The range for this role is anticipated to be $190,000- $200,000 annually with bonus for eligible positions. The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market / business considerations, and geographic location.
