JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Extension, Better Kid Care seeks to hire a part-time research project manager. The research project manager will support Better Kid Care's director to conduct literature reviews, support manuscript and conference submissions, and manage large data sets collected from early childhood educators accessing Better Kid Care's On Demand system. This position will work closely with the Better Kid Care director and has the potential to be a remote position.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Oversee data collected from Better Kid Care's On Demand system and support data management through data cleaning and codebook creation.

2. Collaborate with Better Kid Care's director to disseminate research findings relevant to the early childhood workforce.

3. Participate in the development of research questions and hypotheses.

4. Conduct literature reviews as well as manuscript and conference submissions.

5. Coordinate and attend planning meetings with Better Kid Care's director to identify and pursue innovative research initiatives.
