Location: Office-Based, Greater Atlanta Area, Georgia Salary : $80,000 to $120,000 + Benefits + Bonus Opportunities An established and growing building envelope contractor is seeking an Estimator to join its New Construction Division. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial and industrial projects across the full building envelope package, collaborating with operations, preconstruction, and project management teams from bid stage through project award. We are open to candidates at varying levels of experience, from developing estimators looking to advance their careers to senior professionals capable of leading major pursuits and mentoring others. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of new construction projects. The position involves evaluating project documents, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, identifying value-engineering opportunities, and supporting business growth through successful bid submissions. Scope of Work Estimating responsibilities will cover multiple building envelope disciplines, including: Roofing Systems Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposalsIdentify project risks, opportunities, and value-engineering solutions Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth project hand overs Attend pre-bid meetings and support client discussions where required Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, labor trends, and material costs Qualifications Candidates from either a General Contractor (GC) background or a specialist subcontractor environment are encouraged to apply Experience with one or more building envelope scopes, including glazing, façade systems, roofing, structural steel, concrete, aluminum systems, or related commercial construction trades, is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
