Role Overview: Responsible for completing all core curriculum classes, participating in professional development, and successfully achieving clinical competencies in a Nurse Residency Program. Works under supervision to refine nursing skills, manage clinical situations, and ensure adherence to organizational policies such as licensure, infection control, and patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Collects patient data, performs nursing assessments, and identifies patient needs under RN supervision. Develops and revises care plans, involving patients and families, and makes referrals to support services. Provides treatments, procedures, and discharge teaching while respecting patient rights and ethical standards. Records patient care activities, monitors for problems, and implements nursing measures accordingly. Delegates care, participates in quality improvement, and adjusts staffing based on patient needs under supervision. Completes clinical skills with supervision and performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience required; candidates with over 12 months are ineligible. Current RN license or provisional license with NCLEX testing in progress. Knowledge of nursing standards, infection control, and patient safety. Other Details Night shift available. This is a non-management role reporting to supervisory staff, located in an ICU Progressive Care department.
