Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and formulate personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-informed interventions to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and resources to patients and their families on therapy practices for continued progress at home.
  • Document and Monitor Progress: Track patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported
Licenses
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential required
