Team members will be cross-trained in a variety of departments including Assembly, Layout, Motor/Machine, Industrial Painting, Screen Cloth, Shipping, and Urethane, and play a key role in meeting daily production goals.At Derrick Corporation, our journey began over seven decades ago when H. This year, 2026 marks our 75th year in operation, which speaks to our enduring legacy and global presence.ResponsibilitiesFollowing work instructions to meet job specificationsAdhering to all safety regulationsCleaning and maintaining all equipmentMeasuring to confirm equipment parts meet specificationsLoading and unloading materials in a safe mannerOperating various equipment and/or machineryAssembly of heavy components using hand and power toolsReading blueprints to ensure work is being performed to specificationsChecking tolerances and dimensions to ensure quality standards are being metMake a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidyQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree also welcomed)Reliability and strong attendance historyAbility to learn quickly and take direction from Leads and SupervisorsAbility to read a tape measureMath skills to work with addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimalsDesire to be cross trained in different departments and in different skillsPositive attitudeTeamwork skillsDriver's License highly preferredDerrick Corporation has a standard work week of 47.5 hours. Associates are also paid overtime daily for anything over 8 hours.DAY SHIFT: 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday.NIGHT SHIFT: 9pm – 7am Sunday - Thursday. PLUS 15% pay differential if hired for the night shift!Full-time and non-exempt.
