MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging in Alpena, MI. The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging exams, prepare and position patients, operate MRI scanners, administer contrast as indicated, and ensure images and documentation meet radiologist requirements. Candidates should be prepared to follow facility-specific protocols and safety procedures while delivering patient-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI or active certification through American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT) - REQUIRED.
• Associate degree - REQUIRED.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience - REQUIRED.
• Siemens MRI system experience - REQUIRED.
• Active American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) - REQUIRED.
• Ability to provide Work History and Skills Checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to MRI - REQUIRED (document).
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years - REQUIRED (document).
• Must meet facility residency restriction: candidate permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (facility will not consider local candidates).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience administering IV contrast for MRI examinations.
• Experience preparing records and coordinating studies for radiologist review.

Assignment Details

• Varied afternoon and day shifts.
• 40 hour guarantee.
• One weekend per month required.
