Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary:
The Acute Dialysis Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment in acute settings. They are responsible for managing complex clinical needs, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality renal care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer dialysis treatments according to prescribed protocols and monitor patient responses throughout the procedure
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis sessions to identify any adverse reactions or complications
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for dialysis patients
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient assessments, and clinical observations
• Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, post-treatment care, and lifestyle adjustments
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a sterile environment during all procedures

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse licensure with relevant dialysis experience
• Demonstrate strong clinical and technical proficiency in acute dialysis settings
• Possess excellent assessment skills and the ability to respond rapidly to clinical changes
• Maintain current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Exhibit effective communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure situations
