Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Call:One 12-hour call shift every 2 weeks; 30-minute response time
Position Overview

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for a traveler assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients while collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, individualized nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Assist with vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
Provide patient and family education and discharge support.
Accurately document patient care in Epic.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
Participate in quality improvement, education, and unit activities.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma or through a multistate compact license.
Labor & Delivery experience.
LDRP experience.
Cesarean Section experience.
Epic experience; Muskogee Epic experience preferred.
BLS through AHA.
NRP certification.
ACLS certification.
Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring instruction/passage.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Epic experience at South or Yale locations.
TeamBirth experience.
Experience caring for a broad range of obstetric and postpartum patients.
