Rhino Medical is seeking a licensed OB/GYN hospitalist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity supporting a hospital in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care within a dedicated OB unit, including labor and delivery management, antepartum and postpartum care, and surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion. Providers will cover unassigned OB patients, patients signed out by primary OBs, and emergency gynecologic cases.

Practice Environment
This hospital provides specialized obstetric and gynecologic inpatient services within a comprehensive OB/GYN unit. Providers will manage both routine and high-risk pregnancies, perform surgical procedures such as cesarean sections, and handle emergency gynecology cases. The facility is equipped with modern resources and a supportive clinical team dedicated to obstetric and gynecologic care.

Schedule & Coverage

• Shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, totaling 12 shifts per month
• Minimum required: 7–14 shifts per month
• Guaranteed hours: 12 per shift
• No specified start/end dates outside scheduled shifts or fixed assignment duration

Clinical Responsibilities

• Management of labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Performance of cesarean sections, spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion procedures
• Assistance with planned and unplanned C-sections
• Supervision of labor for low- and high-risk OB patients
• Emergency gynecologic case coverage
• Collaborate with surgical teams and inpatient providers

Candidate Requirements

• MD from an accredited medical school
• Active California medical license and DEA registration
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within six years of residency
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• No restrictions, prior Medical Board actions, or additional certifications specified
