It's a remote position working EST hours.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Developer to lead enterprise-scale analytics initiatives from strategy through implementation. This role will own the design, development, and governance of business intelligence solutions across the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, partnering closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to deliver measurable, trusted, and scalable data solutions.ResponsibilitiesExecute enterprise-scale analytics initiatives, from strategy through implementation, with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomesEngage confidently with senior business and technology stakeholders, building consensus and driving results across the organizationDrive KPI standardization and lead analytics modernization efforts across complex organizationsDesign and optimize complex SQL queries and large-scale data models to support enterprise reporting needsApply expert-level query design and performance optimization practices across high-volume datasetsOwn the full Power BI development lifecycle, including semantic modeling and DAX development for complex business logicArchitect enterprise dashboards and reports built for scale and usabilityDesign row-level security (RLS) to support data access and compliance requirementsManage dataflows, datasets, and workspace governanceEnable self-service analytics, empowering business users with governed, trusted dataDesign, build, and implement Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutionsDevelop and orchestrate data pipelines, including OneLake storage managementBuild Fabric notebooks leveraging Spark-based transformations for large-scale data processingManage deployment pipelines supporting structured promotion across Dev, Test, and Production environmentsOwn workspace governance and capacity management aligned to enterprise standardsApply data governance, data quality, and metadata management best practices across all BI deliverablesQualifications10+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy, with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomesDemonstrated success leading and executing enterprise-scale analytics initiatives from strategy through implementationProven ability to build consensus and drive results, engaging confidently with senior business and technology stakeholdersExpert SQL skills encompassing complex query design, performance optimization, and large-scale data modelingExpert-level Power BI proficiency across the full development lifecycle, including semantic modeling, DAX, enterprise dashboard architecture, RLS, dataflows/dataset management, and self-service enablementHands-on experience across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Lakehouse/Data Warehouse design, pipeline development, Fabric notebooks (Spark), deployment pipelines, and workspace governanceStrong foundation in data governance, data quality, and metadata management best practicesBackground in fintech, financial services, or another highly regulated industry, with an understanding of compliance and data sensitivity requirementsExperience driving KPI standardization and leading analytics modernization efforts across complex organizationsLooker experience is a meaningful differentiator — candidates with hands-on Looker development experience and direct involvement in a Looker-to-Power BI migration will be given strong preferenceArctiq is an equal opportunity employer.
