Job DescriptionBe the First to ApplyMarana Detention Center | Marana, AZ $17.81 per hour | Full-timeResponsible for central communications and performing related clerical tasks in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.Why join the MTC team?Medical, dental, vision and prescription benefitsPaid vacation, sick time and holidays401(k), life insurance, disability coverage and employee assistance programEducation assistance, military leave and opportunities to make a meaningful differenceWhat you will doRoute incoming and inter-office calls and make connections with outside lines for outgoing calls.Place long-distance calls and keep record of all long-distance calls, outgoing and incoming reversed charge calls.Take messages for staff and detainees and forward as appropriate.Keep directory of location and telephone extension for assigned personnel.Type correspondence, reports and letters; proofread material to verify accuracy.Perform data entry and process documents as assigned.Maintain records, files and appropriate office supplies.Under direction, order and coordinate communication services.Greet and direct visitors to the proper office.Log and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail.What you will needHigh school diploma or GEDUS Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required.Fluent in Spanish, speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing, and six (6) months of clerical or administrative experience is highly desired.Must successfully complete required preservice training.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.At MTC, we care about people and believe meaningful work can create lasting impact.
