Bilingual PST Specialist

Location: 1285 Hartrey, Evanston, IL 60201. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00am‑6:00pm; Wednesday 10:30am‑7:30pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Bilingual language skills considered a plus. Compensation Pay Range: $17.50–$24.50 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
