Actualmente buscamos profesores de matemáticas enérgicos y apasionados, con una sólida formación matemática y capaces de trabajar con estudiantes de secundaria y bachillerato. Debe ser capaz de enseñar Pre-Álgebra, Álgebra I, Geometría, Álgebra II, Pre-Cálculo y AP-Cálculo. Poder impartir cursos preparatorios para SAT/ACT y Cálculo es un punto a favor. Debe tener buenas habilidades de comunicación y amar trabajar con niños. Áreas de enseñanza Se buscan profesores de matemáticas de secundaria y bachillerato (Pre-Álgebra, Álgebra I a Pre-Cálculo). Calificaciones y habilidades Preferencia por experiencia docente y certificados de enseñanza, pero no obligatorio. Se prefiere una licenciatura en Matemáticas o materias relacionadas con las matemáticas; estudiantes universitarios que aprueben el examen de competencia matemática también son considerados. Fuerte habilidad de comunicación. Debe aprobar un examen de competencia matemática y una verificación de antecedentes. Se requiere competencia en matemáticas hasta Pre-Cálculo; se prefiere conocimiento de cálculo. Horario del Centro Estamos abiertos de lunes a jueves de 15:30 a 20:00, sábados de 10:00 a 13:00, y domingos de 14:00 a 17:00. Se debe poder trabajar al menos dos o tres días a la semana. Responsabilidades del puesto Enseñar/tutorizar en el centro, online y/o mediante impartición híbrida usando el Método™ Mathnasium, terminología y prácticas docentes. Trabajar de forma colaborativa con los miembros del equipo para impartir instrucción individualizada en un entorno grupal. Evaluar el progreso y la implicación del aprendizaje de los estudiantes a lo largo de las sesiones de instrucción. Adquirir competencia con materiales y procesos educativos digitales. Apoyar el mantenimiento de un entorno de aprendizaje seguro y profesional.
