Dover is a diversified global manufacturer with annual revenues in excess of $7 billion.Job Title: Technician II – Industrial MechanicalWhat we are looking for: A Technician II – Industrial Mechanical will have experience in a manufacturing environment installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as the physical structure of an industrial facility.Essential Competencies:Observe and inspect our machinery and facility and to make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures.Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment.Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, electrical and electronic components of automated machinery.Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases.Use the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed using Fixx work order system.Keep work area in clean, safe, and orderly mannerOperate forklift or boom lift.Other duties as assignedMinimum Quantifiable Competencies:High School Diploma or GED2+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist2 years or more in machine based Industrial Electrical/ElectronicsBe a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.Ability to operate various Saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.Familiar with work order systemsPreferred Competencies:CertificationHigh School and Trade School or Apprenticeship.Essential Physical/Environmental Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms.The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.The employee must be able to work at heights over 100 feet occasionally.Occasional overtime and extended hours maybe needed.Benefits for this position include: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; medical, dental and vision insurance; wellness programs; health savings account, health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts; company paid short-term disability and long-term disability; company paid employee basic life and AD&D insurance; supplemental employee and dependent life insurance; optional accident, hospital indemnity and critical illness insurance; adoption, surrogacy, and fertility benefits and assistance; commuter benefits; parental, military, jury duty, and bereavement leaves of absence; paid time off, including; business travel services; employee discounts; and an employee assistance program that includes company paid counseling sessions and legal services.Dover Food Retail is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
