Receive materials for site use. Act as initial contact for delivery personnel and site visitors. Perform inventory duties, including maintaining an inventory database. Interact with other site personnel to coordinate deliveries and carry out inventory tasks. Typical Duties and Responsibilities Greets delivery vehicles, such as box trucks, freight liners, tankers, and site visitors at the Routine Access Gate (RAG) and directs them to the appropriate destination based on business need. Verifies packing slips/Bill of Lading with purchase orders. Enters chemicals into chemical inventory database. Barcodes hazardous chemicals, affixes property stickers and completes property tracking cards when appropriate. For goods requiring quality inspection, place in appropriate storage area and provides notification to Quality Assurance (QA). Makes deliveries to appropriate personnel for urgent requests, sometimes using a forklift, telehandler, or light vehicle. Safely operates a forklift or telehandler to receive and deliver materials. Places goods in “Stores” for non-urgent delivery items and maintain in Inventory Control in Warehouse Management System Maximo. Maintains Maximo Inventory database for new and existing items; ensures items are tracked in Maximo database and Stores accurately with the correct Item Description, Model Number, Expiration Date, Quantities. Ensures that items are removed from WMS Maximo when items are discarded. Basic knowledge of Warehouse Functions as LIFO, FIFO, Database Tracking, Word, Excel, Order Fulfillment Proficient in Organization and Itemization Ensure Cost is tracked from Electronic Purchasing System Oracle to Warehouse Management System Maximo to individual stock items Maintains FileMaker chemical inventory database. Coordinate with Critical and Mission Essential Spare Part deliveries, receipt, and storage with On-Site Critical and Mission Essential Spare Parts Coordinator Follows appropriate procedures to maintain accurate inventory control Ensures that durable good items (i.e. shovels, etc.) are accurately accounted for when they are checked in and out for use. Conducts routine and spontaneous inventory of Stores in accordance with site procedures. Conducts routine and assigned inventories of Personal Property in accordance with site procedures. Coordinates with on-site groups for material usage and fill rates Coordinates inventory efforts with Property Control. Supports and/or fills in for all shift operations as needed. Follows the Site Security Plan as it pertains to the warehouse, RAG and LAG. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand (for 30-60 minutes at a time), walk, reach, lift, sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be a minimum of 5 feet tall in stature to meet forklift driving qualifications. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen and other Non-DOT driver requirements. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Job-Related Qualifications Required Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience Minimum 1 year of warehousing/stocking or related experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license and other relevant equipment to perform essential functions of the position. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license. Must have ability to obtain and maintain appropriate DOE credentials. Working knowledge of FileMaker preferred. Computer Skills Required Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), Internet Navigation.
