You head home that evening — no overnight bag needed — knowing you grew new relationships and strengthened trusted partnerships.

The Role

We’re hiring a field-focused sales engineer to build new business and expand existing accounts for a portfolio of high-quality fluid power products. You’ll own a defined territory and act as the technical-commercial bridge between customers and our internal resources.

Territory

Connecticut & Massachusetts — specifically north of Hartford, CT , including Western MA .

What you’ll do

• Develop net-new relationships while deepening ties with current customers across Aerospace, Industrial, Marine, High Performance, Utility, and Pharmaceutical sectors.
• Conduct daily in-person customer visits across the territory with little to no overnight travel .
• Promote a robust catalog of fluid power solutions and provide application guidance and technical recommendations.
• Partner closely with inside sales, customer service, and technical teams to drive proposals and ensure excellent support.
• Independently manage your pipeline, territory plans, and account strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.

What you bring

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial-focused sales experience.
• Proven ability to run a territory independently and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
• NAHAD experience or credentials are desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $50,000–$80,000 plus bonus and commission, with the ability to earn up to $200,000 annually , along with a competitive benefits package.
