Jersey Shore Ambulatory Surgery Center (Jersey Shore ASC) in Somers Point, New Jersey, is a modern outpatient surgery center featuring four operating rooms and a patient-centered approach to care. The center provides a cost-effective alternative to hospital-based surgery, offering services in orthopedic total joint replacement, sports medicine, podiatry, ophthalmology, spine surgery, pain management, and general surgery.

The Operating Room RN provides direct patient care and serves as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process. This role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity before, during, and after surgery.

TuesdayFriday schedule (Part-time, 24 hours/week). No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.

Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during procedures. Ensure patient safety and compliance with aseptic and surgical standards. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Participate in quality improvement, safety, and professional development activities. Assist with orientation and training of new team members. Maintain accurate documentation and respond appropriately to patient and physician needs.

Associate's degree or equivalent; one year of OR experience required. Current RN license (NJ). BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills. Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows environment).
