Flexo Press Operator - 2nd Shift Positions Available

Id Technology formerly Lofton Label, Inc. is seeking an experienced Press Operator to be based at our facility in Inver Grove Heights, MN. In this role, you will operate a Nilpeter flexographic press to create labels of exceptional quality that align with customer specifications. 2nd shift opportunities are available. Benefits begin on the first day of employment. Responsibilities Skillfully manage the flexographic press to create labels of exceptional quality that align with customer specifications. Execute job orders efficiently, minimizing waste. Thoroughly review each order for precise graphics, quantity, stock, color, varnish, and other specifications. Identify and mark any defects on the final product. Strictly adhere to safety protocols while operating the press and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Regularly inspect press components and promptly report any required repairs or maintenance. Qualifications Practical understanding of flexo press operations and techniques, acquired through formal education or hands‑on experience. Keen visual acumen for inspecting plates and labels. Proficiency in color matching on the press and using a Spectrodensitometer. Ability to handle stock rolls weighing up to 40 pounds. Continuous standing throughout the entire work shift. Proficiency in reading and comprehending written instructions and information. Adaptable and capable of handling frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. Compensation $18.75 – $32.00 an hour.
