Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Spanish-speaking Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Rockland County, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, hospital-based environment while enjoying the autonomy of a private practice model. With a focus on outpatient care, you will be part of a community-oriented practice with access to the resources of a major academic center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 100% outpatient medical care, focusing primarily on adult patients aged 16 and older.
• Work within a private practice model backed by hospital resources, allowing for professional autonomy.
• Start with a manageable patient load of 8-10 patients per day, with a goal to increase to 15-20 patients over time.
• Collaborate with an experienced provider skilled in internal medicine and pulmonology.
• Maintain standard business hours, with the option of working one evening per week until 6 pm. No weekend work required.
• Participate in a telephone call rotation with other primary care physicians, approximately every 1 in 15 weeks.

Requirements:

• State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required.
• Residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED.
