Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN License in the state Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: - 2+ years in Stepdown or ICU in an acute care hospital. - Competence with insulin gtts, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem. - Experience with post-op surgical patients and trauma is helpful. Description: This position is focused on providing high-quality patient care. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Maintains accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers. Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments. Respects patient rights and maintains confidentiality of patient information. Acts in alignment with organizational mission and values. Emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and dependability. Works with a variety of medical conditions, including post-cardiac procedures, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, and other medical overflow patients. Follows established protocols and guidelines while performing nursing duties. Ensures high standards of professional conduct and care.
