Business Services RepresentativeTitle: Business Services RepresentativeClassification: Non-ExemptSalary: $48,000 to $50,000/yrScope of Position: Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with employers and community partners to develop quality employment opportunities for jobseekers. Supports employer engagement, job development, and recruitment activities to align workforce services with local hiring needs.Essential FunctionsDevelop and maintain relationships with employers, community partners, and business organizations to generate quality job opportunities for jobseekersCreate, submit, and manage job orders that align with jobseeker skills, experience, career interests, and local labor market demandConduct employer outreach by phone, email, and in person to schedule meetings, identify hiring needs, and promote available workforce servicesPerform initial and follow-up employer visits to strengthen partnerships, assess satisfaction, and support ongoing recruitment needsDevelop and maintain a pipeline of business leads through networking, employer research, referrals, Chamber events, conferences, and community meetingsSupport the development and execution of marketing and outreach strategies to promote business services and expand employer engagementRepresent EDSI/AJC at employer events, business meetings, hiring events, conferences, and selected community functionsConduct job task analyses, as requested, to better understand employer needs and support appropriate jobseeker matchingTrack progress toward weekly, monthly, and annual performance goals and provide updates, reports, and target projections as neededCoordinate with internal teams to ensure employer expectations are clearly communicated and met through timely referrals, recruitment support, and follow-upEnter, update, and monitor employer information, job orders, outreach activity, and service outcomes in required databasesOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma required; associate degree or some college preferredMarketing and sales experience preferredCustomer service experience, strong presentation abilities, and good interpersonal skills requiredProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsRegional travel is requiredAble to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environmentClean driving record, valid Driver's License, and reliable vehicle requiredBring your expertise to EDSI where you will be able to live our values every day: Show Up, Smile and Support!EDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
