Industrial Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Material Handlerto support our valve manufacturing team. This is an entry-level position with excellent opportunities for hands-on training and career advancement into specialized valve assembly, machining, or testing roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw valve castings, components, and finished products using pallet jacks, forklifts, or overhead cranes.
• Clean, deburr, and prep valve bodies and components using parts washers, manual grinders, and sandblasting equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by sweeping floors, clearing scrap metal, dumping trash bins, and organizing inventory racks.
• Assist Valve Assemblers and Hydrotest Technicians with setting up test rigs, staging components, and packing finished valves for shipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.

Qualifications & Skills

• 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial shop environment (experience with valves or heavy machinery is a plus, but not required).
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools. Forklift or overhead crane experience is a major plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs] regularly.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to shop safety.
• Must have steel toe shoes & similar previous experience
