Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Cath Lab FSN is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including assessments, education, and consent verification Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., angioplasty, stent placement) Monitor and document patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status Administer medications, including moderate sedation, in accordance with hospital protocols Operate and assist with specialized Cath Lab equipment Provide post-procedure care and patient education for recovery and discharge Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards Respond effectively to emergencies, including cardiac arrest situations Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Minimum of 2 years of critical care, cardiac, or Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
