This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and operations teams to ensure AI programs align with enterprise strategy and governance and adhere to ethical, regulatory, and quality standards. The AI Program Manager oversees multiple AI projects, manages dependencies, mitigates risk, and drives measurable business impact from AI investments. This role also helps drive end user and clinician adoption through stakeholder and change management.Job Description:Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:Lead, coordinate, and facilitate multiple AI governance bodies, steering committees, and councilsPrepare agendas, materials, and decision frameworks to support effective review and approval of AI initiativesSupport executive decision‑making through concise reporting and recommendationsManage the intake, assessment, and prioritization of proposed AI use cases and solutionsMaintain visibility into approved, in‑flight, deferred, and rejected AI initiativesPartner with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and clinical leaders to identify use cases and define clinical value, safety criteria, and success metricsCollaborate with business owners to define AI program goals, KPIs, and value realization metricsTranslate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non‑technical stakeholdersProvide executive reporting on program status, ROI, risk, and outcomesPartner with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure AI solutions meet organizational policies, patient consent and regulatory expectationsEnable operational adoption through change management and stakeholder engagementMinimum Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Data Science, Public Health, or related fieldLicensure, Certification & Registration:Experience:5+ years of experience in program, portfolio, or project managementPrior experience supporting AI, analytics, digital transformation, or technology governance initiativesDemonstrated experience facilitating governance forums, councils, or steering committeesExperience working in complex, matrixed organizations with senior leadership engagementFamiliarity with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or enterprise healthcare systemsSkills, Knowledge & Abilities:Strong facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across clinical, technical, and business teamsWorking knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and lifecycle (use case intake, development, deployment, monitoring)Understanding of healthcare regulatory, privacy, and data governance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)High attention to detail with strong organizational, documentation, and follow‑through capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations.Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Experience with EpicPay Range:$135,000.00 USD – $170,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
