Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Reports to: Operations Manager

Position Summary:
As a Tool Maker, you’ll perform complex bench, machine, and finishing operations to maintain and enhance precision fixtures. You’ll play a key role in improving operations performance, leading training for junior staff, and working with a high-performing technical team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, layout, and execute fixture and tooling maintenance work with minimal supervision.
· Modify and maintain complex fixtures to optimize performance.
· Operate and set up all Tool Room equipment and machinery.
· Perform advanced machine set-ups that may require tool modifications.
· Monitor and inspect tool performance and quality.
· Instruct and mentor other Toolmakers, Machinists, and Technicians.
· Operate overhead cranes as required.
· Assist in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
· Maintain all documentation associated in tooling and machine setups.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Wire EDM and Esprit programming experience is a plus.
· Completion of a state sponsored Tool & Die or Mold Maker apprenticeship program or equivalent industry experience.
· 5+ years of related experience in tooling manufacturing
· Skilled in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
· Soldering, brazing, and welding a plus.
· CNC programming and CAD experience (Solid Works) is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
· Solid computer skills a plus.
