You will provide guidance, interpretations, and/or briefings on current and proposed policies for the recruitment and retention of individuals for naval service to a wide variety of individuals, managers, and key officials.

You will prepare research on recruiting-related issues and drafts proposals on action initiatives for presentation to decision-making officials.

You will prepare regulations, policy memorandums, directives or comparable guidelines.

You will review factual circumstances of cases and identifies procedural or programmatic errors and anomalies and develops a recommendation for corrective action for signature by designated official.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Providing guidance, briefings, and interpretations of current and proposed naval recruitment and retention policies, 2) Composing high-level formal correspondence, policy memorandums, and directives for senior leadership signature, 3) Developing comprehensive implementation procedures and coordinates the integration of updated guidelines across subordinate organizations to ensure seamless compliance, 4) Conducting in-depth research and prepares staff studies, position papers, and proposals to defend or improve recruiting initiatives, 5) Analyzing non-routine cases to identify procedural errors or anomalies, developing evidence-based recommendations for corrective action to be executed by designated officials.
