AutoCAD Civil 3D design proficiency for construction plan preparation of land development projects (including utilities and stormwater components). Projects include subdivision, multi-family, mixed-use and commercial development. AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiencies must include grading, pipe networks, corridors, utility profiles and accurate earthwork computations. CAD designer/drafter will work under an engineer to develop construction drawings. A strong knowledge of geometry, algebra, MS Excel and MS Word are required. Candidate must be detail oriented with technically sound AutoCAD Civil 3D principles and practices as well as able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Candidate must also possess effective time management, written/oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Four years of experience is preferred, but a minimum of two years of experience is required. Candidates with experience that exceeds four years should apply and discuss alternate salary range with management.
The job is a permanent, hourly, full-time position. Approved overtime will be compensated on a time-and-a-half basis. Pay will commensurate with knowledge and experience; however, salary range will be $25-$30/hr based on experience.
