Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care, demonstrating excellence in clinical skills and patient management.

Position Details

• Location: Corpus Christi, TX
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Unit Information

The Emergency Department features:

• 12 beds
• Staffing: 6-8 personnel, including RNs and ER Technicians
• Patient Ratio: 4:1

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, TNCC
• Preferred Skills: Strong experience in Neuro and Cardiac care, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Typical Procedures

The Emergency Department handles a variety of critical cases, including but not limited to:

• STEMI management
• Stroke care/TPA administration
• Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)

While there is a preferred scrub color of royal blue, it is not mandatory. Competitor emblems are not permitted.
