The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports the practice manager and lead physician by delivering efficient, patient-centered clinical support and maintaining accurate patient information throughout the care process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and collect relevant health information.
- Measure and record patient vital signs.
- Obtain and document comprehensive medical histories.
- Perform medication reconciliation and communicate discrepancies to the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
- Strong patient communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
