Registered Nurse – ICU | Travel Contract

Location: Amsterdam, NY
Start Date: Oct 5, 2026
Contract: 14 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12s
Pay: $2300- $2400 per week
Unit: ICU – May float to Medical-Surgical (MS) as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week travel contract at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong critical-care experience and be comfortable floating to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must be willing to float to MS as needed
• Must be available to work holidays
• Travel experience with previous contract renewals is preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required but is highly recommended by the facility

Additional Information

• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• Orientation is held every other Monday at 8:00 AM and lasts approximately 12 hours.
• Upcoming start dates include 9/28, 10/5, and 10/19 .
