Job Category SHOP Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Shop Mechanic Job Description Job Summary Inspecting engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspecting computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. Conducting routine maintenance work aiming for functionality and longevity. Duties/Responsibilities Inspections, troubleshooting and repairing all equipment Cleaning, adjusting, servicing all equipment as necessary Helping other mechanics as needed Maintaining proper paperwork as required Helping with loading and unloading trucks when necessary. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years’ experience required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
