Radiology - Interventional Radiology (IR Tech)

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00). Minimum call requirement of 7 days per month. Job Description The Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, primarily in a combination lab setting with a focus on interventional radiology. Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating during procedures, adhering to safety and hygiene standards, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary medical team. Responsibilities Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the IR and cath lab. Scrub and circulate during IR and cardiology procedures, ensuring a sterile environment. Monitor patient care and perform EKG lead placement as necessary. Administer medications under the supervision of registered nursing staff. Participate in emergency procedures as part of a call team, with a callback time of 30 minutes for STEMIs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology. Active certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and ARRT or RCIS. Experience performing EKG lead placement preferred. Compatibility with the call schedule and flexibility for additional coverage as needed.
