Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Possess current South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification, qualifying you to teach preschool through elementary levels.
• Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in serving students with diverse learning needs.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and support personnel.
• Show commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom community.
• Display adaptability and a proactive approach to meeting each child’s unique educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Deliver engaging, effective instruction aligned with state standards and student learning objectives.
• Collaborate with teacher assistants to ensure all students receive appropriate support.
• Monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback to families and participating in team meetings.
• Employ positive behavioral support strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case management for each student on your caseload.
