Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in trauma and ER protocols to support critical patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement appropriate nursing interventions for emergency patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
• Respond swiftly to trauma situations, adhering to Level I Trauma Center protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and NLC guidelines.
• Provide exceptional patient education and support during emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or a compact license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience, with 3+ years preferred.
• Proven experience in trauma nursing, especially Level I Trauma Centers.
• Ability to work 48 hours per week, including on-call and holiday coverage.
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
• Must include driver's license with submission and meet travel compliance standards.
