Interim Accounting Manager | Heavy Remote

Overview Our Vaco team is partnering with a business services client in South Nashville, TN in search of an Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant that is comfortable being hands-on with day-to-day month-end close tasks. While we are seeking someone local to Nashville, this is a heavy remote position, open to 1 day a week on-site. Responsibilities Lead month-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries Perform bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations Conduct variance analysis Qualifications 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a month-end close capacity/full cycle accounting Proven experience with a large ERP Ability to start within a week and commit to 2-3 months (contract to hire options available) Local to the greater Nashville area, willing to go on-site at least 1 day a week in southern Nashville Employment details This is an interim/contract position, yielding 40 hours/week. Must be willing to work on-site 1-2 days/week.
