Asset Protection Specialist

Overview Prevent financial loss caused by theft and fraud and support safety and environmental program compliance in assigned store(s). Utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and driving a shrink-elimination culture in the store. Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in criminal and civil court actions. Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform duties in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns, and stay focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
