The space is designed for meetings, photo shoots, video and podcast production, and offers office and coworking suites for creative professionals. Located in Historic Downtown Buford, the facility provides a relaxed, small-town setting with nearby restaurants, ideal for close-to-home business retreats. Story Road Marketing Lab aims to give back to the storytelling community by offering resources and support for marketing and creative work. Role Description The Marketing Writer is a full-time, on-site role based in Buford, GA. This role involves researching, writing, and editing marketing content for web, print, and multimedia campaigns that support Story Road Marketing Lab, Gwinnett Magazine, Best of Gwinnett, and client initiatives. The Marketing Writer will collaborate with designers, video and podcast producers, and marketing strategists to develop clear, engaging narratives for brand stories, promotional materials, email campaigns, and social media. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing content outlines, creating web and landing page copy, refining messaging for events and campaigns, and ensuring consistency with brand voice and goals. The role also includes measuring content performance, suggesting improvements, and contributing ideas to enhance storytelling across all channels. Qualifications Strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats. Experience in Marketing and Digital Marketing, including creating content that supports campaigns and drives engagement. Ability to develop and execute Content Strategy aligned with brand objectives and marketing plans. Excellent research and editorial skills, including attention to detail, grammar, and clarity. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Comfort working on-site in a collaborative, creative environment and partnering with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with SEO best practices, content management systems, and social media platforms is beneficial.
