What you will enjoy doing:

• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management
• Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation in compliance with company procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including preparing reports
• Work with a collaborative team to provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management
• Support administering, maintaining and training on HSE programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, etc
• Observe and model the safe culture, but adhering to all safety requirements, and proactively working with leaders and employees to promote a Safety-First culture

What makes you great:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED, and 5+ years of related experience
• Associate Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or 2 years' experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Technical writing experience preferred
