Mechanical Assembler II – SanMárcos, TX, United States of America Location US‑TX‑SANMARCOS Citizenship & Security U.S. citizenship is required for this role. No security clearance is required. Working Hours 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday – Friday (after completing 90 days of training). What You Will Do Complete training hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM for up to 90 days. Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and record defects. Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Precision assembly using hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, grinders, orbital sanders, and pull motors. Measure and inspect using calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers to ensure products meet specifications. Adhere to and understand blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions. Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery. Conduct oxygen purity and moisture content tests at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results. Comply with PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent contamination. Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area. Be willing and able to lift up to 25 lb and work standing for up to 10 hours per day. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience. At least 1 year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and/or engineering drawings to assemble equipment. At least 1 year of experience using general hand and/or power tools.
