Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery
• Manage and respond to emergency and high-acuity situations consistent with Emergency Room standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), or TEAM-A certification required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
