Circulating RN Opportunity in Spring, TX

Pride Health is hiring a Circulating RN for one of our clients located in Spring, TX! This role will be working in a Surgery Center.

Schedule: Mon-Fri Day (0630a - 3pm)

Contract: 2 months to start

Pay Rate: 50-55/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows the standards of care related to the nursing process.
• Conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, and maintenance of medical records under the supervision of the coordinator, supervisor of manager.
• Practices in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
• Addresses and resolves common contingency situations that arise in specialty area.
• Documentation is accurate, legible, timely, and concise according to protocol.
• Treats patients and family with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
• Provides instructions, verbal and written to the level of the patient's understanding.
• Stocks unit/completes routine checks on unit.
• Actively participates in preoperative call process.
• Communicates any delays to family members and other team members as necessary.
• Prioritizes care based on the patient's needs, abilities, and preferences.
• Advocates on patient/family's behalf to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns, utilizing appropriate resources.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Active RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)
• Experience in OR setting
• Circulating experience preferred
