Vice President, Alternative Credit Residential Asset Management

Role Overview Ares Management is hiring a Vice President for its Alternative Credit investment team in Atlanta, focused on Asset Management of the team's ongoing residential credit transactions. Ares Alternative Credit focuses on asset-based finance (ABF) and tactical asset investing beyond traditional markets, and manages approximately $57.3 billion in assets as of March 2026. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day active management of the ongoing trade commitment pipeline across flow and bulk residential loan transactions for multiple Alternative Credit Accounts Manage loan exit and resecuritization opportunities for the Pathfinder Accounts Oversee operating document negotiation and adherence with legal and counterparties General asset management including confirming fundings, coordinating settlements, valuations, and asset-level reporting Analyze asset-level and originator guideline trends and communicate findings to the residential deal team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field 4+ years of residential whole loan transaction experience, including negotiating operative documents Advanced MS Excel modeling skills and experience with Intex and database management Strong communication and analytical skills, given the level of coordination required with internal and external counterparties Compensation & Location Based in Ares' Atlanta office, reporting to the Managing Director, Alternative Credit.
