Jersey Mike's is looking for an Assistant Manager!

Our concept is simple. We provide our customers with the freshest, highest quality sub sandwiches available, prepared right in front of them and served with energy and enthusiasm. Our culture of giving and making a difference in the lives of our customers creates an important bond in the communities we serve.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the operation of the restaurant, with a major focus on leading and developing a team of employees in effectively performing their daily tasks while maintaining high standards for food, service, and health and safety. The incumbent also assists with ensuring proper product preparation, inventory control, personnel management and sales and marketing efforts.

Prep/Identification of need

Cash control/Bank deposits
Food and beverage orders
Daily over site and completion of checklist
Must be available to work 40 hours a week
Assisting GM with interviews
Weekly inventories
Assisting with weekly schedules
Daily over site of food cost and labor percentages
Food that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high quality
Service that is noticeably friendlier than that of others
A restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than other restaurants
