Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical staff, including nurses, techs, and anesthesiologists .
• Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols .
• Monitor and maintain surgical equipment, supplies, and operating room readiness .
• Assist in developing OR policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives .
• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures as needed .
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and hospital administration to enhance OR efficiency.
• Document and report surgical outcomes, incidents, and procedural improvements .
• Support and mentor OR nursing staff to enhance skills and teamwork.
• Travel to various healthcare facilities as part of assignment requirements .

Qualifications

• Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license , BSN preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of perioperative nursing experience , with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities .
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, assist with patient positioning, and handle surgical equipment .
• Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
